How to wash my T-shirt?

Modified on Mon, 17 Mar at 10:20 PM

Here are the tips that will help maintain the printed shirts looking fresh and new:
  • Turn your t-shirts inside out: Protect your design from pilling and fading by washing your shirt inside out. Plus, doing this adds a layer of protection and keeps your design from rubbing against other clothes.

  • Wash with cold water: Hot water might shrink or fade your print, so always wash your new t-shirt in cold water to keep it looking fab.

  • Wash your t-shirt with similar colors and materials: In other words, don’t launder your new white t-shirts with a navy blue hoodie. Otherwise, you’ll pull a gray, nubby t-shirt out of the washer, instead of your bright white tee. Avoid throwing your printed shirt in with towels or clothing with zippers or buttons, since that can also damage the fabric and the print you love.

  • Soft detergent: Use a mild detergent, as harsher detergents can cause the ink to fade or discolor.

  • Avoid fabric softener and dry cleaning, as it can be too harsh for the ink, degrading the print quality.

  • Avoid bleach: Although it’s best not to use bleach, you can opt for a non-chlorine bleach, if necessary.

  • Ironing: When ironing, avoid direct contact with prints or embroidery. Use a low-heat setting and place a protective cloth over the area or iron the garment inside out to prevent damage to the designs.
